Lead management

General information

Leads are potential customers who express interest in your product or service. Collecting and analyzing key information about leads, classifying them by stages of the sales funnel, and effective communication are essential components of lead management strategy.
Systematizing this data in the CRM system enables efficient marketing and sales, facilitating successful conversion of leads into actual clients.

Lead creation

In addition to manual lead creation, the process can also be automated through:
    • lead import;
    • CRM event handlers.

Lead handling

There are several ways to handle leads:
    • Table.
    • Kanban.
    • Lead card.

Working with the table

The table view allows simultaneously viewing and working with a large number of leads. While working in the table, the user can perform the following actions:
    • Go to the lead page (click on the lead name or corresponding icon).

    • Select the columns to be displayed in the table.

    • Delete one or more leads (deleting will also remove all related entities, such as comments, proposals, deals, etc.).
    • Call the lead (click on the lead's phone number).
    • Change the lead status.

Working with Kanban

Kanban visually represents the progression of leads through a specific funnel stage and facilitates quick interaction with individual leads. To change the lead status, one has to drag its card from one column (phase) to another. If a phase has certain restriction that the lead does not meet, the status will not be changed.

To get additional information about a lead while working in Kanban, hover over the corresponding icon (name, position, company, source, and responsible).

Additionally, users have the following actions available:
    • View deals.
    • Schedule events. To do this, click the schedule button. Then choose the event type and confirm. If necessary, additional data regarding the future scheduled event can be entered in the pop-up window.

Filtering and mandatory fields

If the lead name in the table or Kanban is highlighted in red, it means that certain mandatory fields are missing in the lead. To interact with such leads, all mandatory additional fields must be filled out.

During work with the table and Kanban, leads can be filtered both by primary fields and by additional form fields.
